David LaFever

David LaFever is a co-founder of IRRF and the Executive Director of the Methow Field Institute/Methow Valley Interpretive Center in Twisp, WA. The MVIC's mission is to foster cultural awareness and understanding of Indigenous peoples and natural history of the Methow Valley and Upper Columbia region. David has worked as a wildlife biologist and ecologist for close to 20 years and has taught science at the university and middle school levels. In addition, David and his wife have a farm in the Methow Valley called Rising Moon Farm where they raise grass fed meat and homeschool their two daughters.
